A Definite Real Deal BBQ Restaurant in Silverdale, WA
Often I find, (as being a native Southerner), I can’t find decent BBQ on the West side of the bay from Seattle. Let’s stop for a moment, I look for true BBQ, that mean’s slow and low, smoked right falling off the bone when you bite into it. Clarification: when bite correct BBQ, it should leave only the teeth impression as the whole piece of meat should not come off at once! Then this is the restaurant that you are looking for! Daniel (Danny) Miller is not only a pitmaster, but also graduated from the C.I.A. (No, not that one)! the Culinary Institute of America. He is also a native Floridian! He not only understands BBQ, but lives BBQ! You ain’t going to find hot and fast at this cafe. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. As a traditionalist, I generally judge BBQ on 2 cuts of meat, the ribs and brisket. I have had both from Danny’s and quite frankly they are done right and are mouth-wateringly outstanding. His sides like his cole slaw are fresh made and not sitting around for a couple of hours just wilting and getting watery. I won’t even go into his suce which is the best on the west side. But the most important aspect of Danny is that he lives by that old culinary standard “You are only as good as the last meal that you put out”. His quality control is beyond reproach. If it isn’t done right, then he won’t serve it! Which is where his CIA training and his numerous years as a personal chef shine through. You won’t get a bad meal here. However, you may become a fat old chef like me!

1st time here will be back had the brisket it was the best had a piece of hot link spicy good ,wife had pulled pork she is in heaven. If you do not stop and eat here you have missed the best
Danny’s is just one great BBQ Comapany. I can not say enough about the service the owner and the quality of the food Would recommend it to any and all who love BBQ Texas style
This place has really good bbq. I should of posted a picture but we ate it all. We are definitely going to come here more often!
Texas BBQ done right without being in Texas. Dan..the owner, chef, and mastermind at the establishment is a genius with the menu. Simple but with so much flavor. Environment is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Not wven being a year…the spot is the go to for BBQ!
